COMMUNITY SCREENINGS
The special 2-DVD set includes the updated Director's Cut of Under Our Skin plus the sequel Emergence. The original film includes 15-minutes of restored footage, re-edited scenes and character updates. The DVD comes with over 30 minutes of bonus footage, plus subtitles in Spanish, French, German, Dutch and Norwegian, as well as English closed-captioning. The sequel also comes with English closed captions as well as German subtitles.
The process is simple:
- The first step to hosting a community screening is to fill out the Host a Screening Form below.
- Purchase a DVD Set with the necessary licensing rights (see options below).
Community Use DVD Set
Discounted for educational use in community organizations, public libraries and K-12 schools, the Community Use DVD Set includes a limited license for wide-use or public screenings (PPR) without paid admission, plus our promotional assistance, including an event posting on the Under Our Skin Facebook page. For events of over 100 people or if you plan on charging admission, please choose the Films + Extended License option ($279) or, if you have already purchased a Community Use DVD, please pay for the Extended License only ($200). If you would like to use the film as part of a fundraiser or plan to charge more than $15 per ticket, please contact us.
Institutional Use DVD Set
Licensed for educational use in universities and medical centers, this special 2 DVD set includes the newly updated Director's Cut of Under Our Skin plus the sequel Emergence.
THEATRICAL SCREENINGS
We’ve partnered with Tugg, a web-platform that enables individuals, groups, and organizations to set up personalized screenings of UNDER OUR SKIN and EMERGENCE in theaters across the country. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness for the Lyme disease epidemic! To spark change in your area, events can be used as fundraisers and can include audience discussions.
Tugg’s Promoter Walkthrough will guide you through the process of hosting a screening and getting the most out of your event!
The process is simple:
Fill out the Event Request Form (UNDER OUR SKIN and EMERGENCE) to pick the date, time, and place for your special screening.
The theater approves the request, and you can begin selling tickets on your personalized Event Page.
Sell enough tickets before the event deadline to confirm your screening. If you don’t meet this “Threshold,” no one will be charged and your event will be called off.
